The authors of a new and first-of-its-kind study assessing the return on investment of Medicaid non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services summarize the study’s findings in a new Stat First Opinion piece. The study focused on NEMT to access to dialysis, diabetic wound care therapy and substance use disorder (SUD) treatments and found a significant ROI by providing beneficiaries in need with access to NEMT.
